Minto
As the newest site, we are proud to show off the head quarters of our latest premises. Located south west; Minto is 45 km away from Sydney City and has 14 thousand square metres of storage and 3 thousand square metres of office area.
When Redox first moved into its Wetherill Park location in 1990 it was expected to be home for much longer than 15 years, but the growth of the company was such that it became apparent the company was going to outgrow the one hectare site. The office space has been extended twice since 1990 to accommodate growing staff numbers, but there is simply no more room to develop the site, so the search ended for a new location when the New Minto location was purchased.
The new Minto location was purchased in 2001, but it took to 2003 to gain the various development approvals to build what would be one of the largest and most modern facilities of its kind in Australia, and perhaps even the Southern Hemisphere.
The new Minto location is six times larger than Wetherill Park and cost almost $11 million to construct. It features a modern 3-storey office facility for sales and administration staff, and a 2-storey transport office for warehouse and transport staff. Storage capacity will be four times larger than the current Wetherill Park location and this will help consolidate storage facilities and alleviate the problem of trucks having to travel to numerous storage facilities across Sydney to fulfil customer orders. This will greatly benefit Redox and its customers.
