To move a variety of products in a multitude of ways from one point in the world to another (anywhere in the world) you need to know what you are doing, and you need to be very good at it.

Redox has developed in-house supply chain solutions capable of costing and monitoring the movement of products with ease. Supply chains need to be effective and efficient; our strength lies in our broad range of activity and economy of scale. We use a combination of Sea, Air, Rail and Road Transport modes to achieve delivery to customers when and where required – every time.

By Sea over 11,000 shipping containers are despatched per annum utilising over 25 different shipping lines and agents. By Air over 4000 parcels are shipped ranging from shipping documents through to the supply of product. Movements by rail and road will total over 260,000 tonne utilising all forms of vehicle type from B-triple semi trailers, bulk solid and liquid road tankers to our fleet of rigid vehicles.

For the storage of our material Redox has over 74 sites strategically situated to allow timely deliveries to customers. These include dedicated corrosive, food, flammable and bulk powder storage facilities. To manage our varied product range we use the latest pallet software to monitor the movement of over 16,000 pallets on hire at any given day. In additional 13,000 non-returnable pallets are required annually, which allows products to be packaged, stored and transported reliably.

A fleet of 1100 IBCs, Intermediate Bulk Containers, are maintained for dedicated products. These IBCs are utilised on a returnable basis, which greatly reduces package waste and helps to protect the environment we live in. The integrity of the package is maintained, through careful inspection and cleaning prior to re-use. An extensive database and procedures are used to track and keep these IBCs to an operational standard. Directly within Redox there is over 60 people and indirectly 125 people who make up the nucleus of our supply chain team attending to duties such as processing shipping documentation, customs brokerage, complete transportation functions, comprehensive negotiations for rates and service and all facets of warehouse management operations.

To ensure all duties are performed to the Redox requirements, operational procedures are in place and reviewed regularly to ensure all work practices comply to industry standards to ensure Redox at all times provides the most effective and efficient service to our suppliers and customers.
